Orders

Is There a Minimum or Maximum Number of Silicone Molds I Have to Order?

For in-stock silicone molds, there is no minimum or maximum order quantity. You can order as few or as many molds as your production requires.

For Custom Molds Orders, there is a minimum order of 20 molds. This is due to the design, engineering, and master mold production involved in creating a custom mold.

If you’re unsure what quantity is right for your operation, feel free to contact our team—we’re happy to help you plan the best setup for your production.

Does each state have different regulations on what needs to be visible on each gummy?

Yes. If a state is listed in our product description, it means the gummy meets that state's regulations.

However, we always suggest double-checking with your state to ensure there haven’t been any recent changes. If you have questions or don’t see your state listed, feel free to contact us at info@vectormolds.com!

Do You Offer bulk Pricing or Discounts for Large Mold Orders?

Yes, Vector Molds offers bulk pricing for larger orders. Bulk orders typically start around 30 molds, though this can vary depending on the specific mold design and production requirements.

If you’re planning a larger run, we recommend reaching out to our team with your quantity and mold details. We’ll provide accurate pricing, lead times, and help you choose the best mold format for your production. Reach out to us.

Molds

Are silicone molds oven safe and freezer safe? What temperatures can they handle?

Yes, Vector Molds are oven safe and freezer safe, with a temperature range of approximately -40°F to 446°F (-40°C to 230°C). This makes them suitable for baking, cooling, and a wide range of confectionery applications.

They are especially well-suited for repeated heat-to-cold cycles, such as depositing and setting processes used in gummy and chocolate production, helping maintain consistent performance over time.

Are your Silicone Molds Food-Grade and BPA-free?

Yes. All Vector Molds are made from premium, food-grade, BPA-free platinum silicone. They are compliant with FDA 21 CFR 177.2600 standards and safe for commercial food production.

How do I wash and care for these molds?

You can clean your molds by hand with soap, in the dishwasher, or through steam cleaning following CDC Sterilization Guidelines (3-4 minutes at 270°F-277°F).

After washing, air dry the molds or use a lint-free cloth. You can also speed up drying with a low-heat oven. Avoid paper towels to prevent lint.

What type of food-grade, BPA-free silicone is used in your gummy, chocolate, and candy molds?

All Vector Molds are manufactured using premium, food-grade, BPA-free platinum silicone that is laboratory tested for safety and consistency.

This high-performance material provides a naturally non-stick surface and is designed to maintain its shape, durability, and product integrity across repeated production cycles.

Are Your Molds Compatible with Depositor Machines and Automated Filling Systems?

Yes. We offer in-stock gummy molds designed to fit standard universal depositor machines with 8-nozzle configurations, making them ideal for both small-scale and high-volume production. These molds are also suitable for hand-pouring and flood-and-scrape methods.

In addition, we specialize in custom silicone molds tailored to fit virtually any depositor or production line. Our team has experience working with equipment from Infuzing, Baker Perkins, Truffle, Evocan, TAG Pharma, and more.

If you’re using a specific machine, simply send us your depositor specs or nozzle layout—we’ll design a mold that ensures proper alignment, consistent fills, and smooth production.

How Do You Ensure Exact Volume and Accurate Dosage in your Products?

At Vector Molds, precision is our priority. Every single cavity is strictly CNC-machined to exact specifications rather than cast from generic templates. This rigorous engineering process guarantees exact volume, ensuring accurate dosage and a consistent product weight across all our cavities and gummy candy molds. Whether you need standard shapes or complex custom gummy molds, you can rely on absolute uniformity for every pour.

Why are Vector Molds’ silicone gummy molds easier to release and faster to demold?

Our molds are engineered for fast, clean release using precision CNC machining with advanced 2026 tooling. This process creates ultra-smooth, machine-polished cavities and optimized geometry that help reduce sticking and improve consistency.

The result is a naturally non-stick silicone mold that supports quicker demolding, cleaner edges, and more efficient production—whether you're making gummies, chocolates, or other confections.

What Types of Gummy Recipes Work Best With Silicone Molds (Gelatin, Pectin, or Agar)?

Our Silicone Molds are compatible with gelatin, pectin, and agar-based gummy recipes. Final texture and firmness will depend on your formulation, including sugar content, solids, and cooking temperature.

You can adjust factors like gelatin bloom strength or pectin percentage to fine-tune texture, consistency, and set time for your specific production needs.

What temperature can silicone gummy molds handle? Are they oven, freezer, and heat safe?

Vector Molds are designed to handle a wide temperature range from approximately -40°F to 446°F (-40°C to 230°C). They are safe for use in freezers, refrigerators, and standard ovens.

This makes them ideal for gummy, chocolate, and confectionery production—especially processes that require repeated heat-to-cold cycles. The material is built to perform consistently as products move from depositing temperatures to cooling and setting.

Are silicone gummy molds dishwasher safe?

Yes, Vector Molds are dishwasher safe, and we recommend placing them on the top rack.

After washing, allow the molds to air dry completely. This helps maintain the non-stick surface and ensures consistent performance across repeated production cycles.

What’s the Best Way to Clean Them?

For best results and long-term performance, hand-washing with warm water and a mild, oil-cutting soap is ideal.

After washing, allow the molds to air dry completely. This helps maintain the non-stick surface and ensures consistent performance across repeated production cycles.

Can silicone molds be used for chocolate, caramel, gummies, or soap?

Yes, Vector Molds are ideal for chocolate, gummies, caramel, and many other confectionery products. The food-grade platinum silicone provides a naturally non-stick surface, making it easy to release delicate shapes with clean detail.

Do you Offer Custom Silicone Molds for Production?

Yes, Vector Molds specializes in custom gummy molds and custom silicone molds designed for commercial production. Our process includes design, prototyping, and full-scale manufacturing to ensure your mold performs exactly as needed.

Projects begin with a $925 design deposit, which covers CAD design and sample mold production. This allows you to test shape, weight, and recipe performance before moving into full production. Once approved, the deposit is applied toward your final order.

Typical lead times are 7–14 days for sample molds, depending on design complexity. To learn more about how it works, we recommend visiting our Custom Mold Process page for a full step-by-step breakdown.

If you have a concept, logo, or specific requirements, send us your details and our team will help bring your mold to life.
